Sway Sway Baby, You're so Audio.

HELLO!
I think it's probably been a decent amount of time for me to write another blog:)
Have I kept you waiting on the edge of your seat? No. But that doesn't matter :)

So, a few days ago, exactly 3 days ago actually, I went to see one of my favourite bands for the 3rd time:) (wow, 3's a lucky number. It's my lucky number too, but oh well.) SHORT STACK! It was the first show of their Sway Sway Baby tour. They were supported by two smaller bands, For Our Hero (www.myspace.com/forourhero) and Ellington (Unknown myspace). Anyway, my friend Shannyn and I rocked up at around 8:30AM, the doors didn't open until 12AM:) FOUR HOUR WAIT.
It was so so so so so so so so SO cold. Like, I'm not even exaggerating.
Shannyn was wearing shorts and a singlet :| But she says it was worth it (: We sat down at the back of the line, and then I saw Bella, so I ran up to her and got myself a hug and we chatted for a bit. And then this creepy guy came along with some cards/card tricks and she went to watch that :) So I collected Shannyn and we went and found Jess, who had been there since 6:30AM. And there were already heapsa people in front of her, some people camped out :| I would have been too scared to do that. Props to who ever camped out, you little troopers :) So we chilled with Jess and Livvi instead of being by ourselves at the back of the line. So we chatted about stuff, like how I am 9, Jess is 10 and Shannyn is 8. We're too cool for school. Eventually, Shannyn and I needed to pee. So Livvi took us to the toilets, which were in some shopping centre.

Note: Shopping centres are very creepy when no one is in them :|

While we were in line, we were told that we were going to die at this gig, we got our photos taken and Jess failed at playing hacky sack with rubbish :) EEEEEVENTFUL.

On our way, we came across Leon & Geoff from the band For Our Hero, Geoff made a funny noise with his mouth :) But Jess was very jealous of us seeing Leon. She loves him ;) They played songs off their EP Threw the Looking Glass. They were so goooood :) I think you should go check them out (: And then Ellington played, they were okay, but no where near as good as For Our Hero. Blah, blah, blah. And then For Our Hero walked past us, Jay totally slapped my hand :) And then Short Stack came out, suddenly everyone was pushing up against us, but no, they would not get in front of us. Shaun Diviney was wearing very, very, very suggestive leather pants ;) I can't remember which song they opened with, but it was amazing - I am positive. There were 2 covers, First Date - Blink 182 and Hallelujah - By I don't Know who :) They were so amazing. Indescribable really.
Anyway, at one stage, this happened.

Shaun: Everyone say boobies!

Bradie Webb had his drum solo, which was of Riverside Mother F*cker :) It was, well adorable. Cos we couldnt clap in time, and he tried to tell us to go slower, and be quiet. And aw :)

they were batches.

When they had finished with their encore of Sway Sway Baby, their upcoming single. I was saddened to leave. But I'll be doing it again in 11 days :) Woot.
There's so much I haven't included, and if I did, it would have taken me forever :)

But after the show, Shannyn and I went to the maccas toilets, and yet again, the line was huge -_- Damn them.

We then went to wait for my dad, and then we went home (:

I'm A Real Big Fan Of Yours.

It's been a fair while hasn't it? Yes, yes it has. I really don't have a plausable reason, but that's not my fault, it's lifes fault that nothing interesting happens to me. I finished school on Thursday, it was rather spectacular. Well, not really. Personally, I like school. Now, I am not the nerd. I am average at it, but I just like learning. Not learning anything for two weeks may possibly be a form of torture. I love those "OOOOH I GET IT!" moments. I think I'll find a way to learn. Oh, and I just remembered, I left my German books at school and I have German homework. Fail? Yes.

Now, on the topic of school: I think I last blogged about the Random Acts of Kindness we were doing. We recently moved on to the power of one and happiness, blah, blah, blah. But, as I was sitting in devotions and I actually found myself thinking about how I could be a better person and stuff and how exciting this all sounded. So, ever since then, I have been trying to be a nicer and better person. I think it's working too. Except Hannah still thinks I am mean :) Well, I'll prove here wrong. She is no longer my arch nemesis in Blogging, because I love her. *Vomits rainbows* ^-^

Recently, I have been finding it hard to write stories /cry. I'm usually really good at coming up with things to write about, I've been writing since I was in grade 5 or 6, but now has come the major writers block that has lasted six whole months. I really have nothing to write about. Nada. Zilch. Someone should really invent a writers block remover, that removes all writers block forever and ever and ever. That would be wicked cool.

OH! So, I got Sims 3 for my birthday which was 17 days ago. Wooh! Yeah! 15 finally -_-". But anyway, I found it to be just as fun as Sims 2 but with different features. Like, now you can walk around town, get facials, manicures and pedicures, take babies with you to the shops, alter you're furniture to match the rest of the room and have like moodlet things. But you have to use the up, down, left and right buttons to move. In Sims 2 you just have to move the cursor around )': That one thing ruined it for me, shame (:

I'm not sure what else I could really add to this blog, there really isn't much :)
I will be updating more though :)

Well, hello.

My name's lizzi, and I think I might start a continuous blogging phase. First off, a bit about myself, or else you won't understand anything :) i'm a teenager, i like lots of things, i don't know myself yet, i lovelovelove short stack more than you love you're family ;D in the future: i will have written a book, recorded a song, drawn a masterpiece (in my eyes), made a lot of great friends, lived the way i wanted to live and hopefully passed highschool.

now: i should probably start blogging something actually interesting, how about something about the day? i think that sounds appropriate. let's make this precise.
i had, Double Maths, PE, Music and Double Literature. let's get this straight, i despise my literature classes. my silly sally teacher thinks she can get away with piling loads and loads of homework on us and then asking everything to be handed in the next day! AS IF. she is a stupid stupid woman and should be chastised with a metaphorical whip. we had to write a movie review in two periods, correct? well, one of the paragraph topics was about the effects the movie had; eg. Sound and lighting. and then it said may need two paragraphs to describe these effects. what the hell? who wants to ramble on about effects and lighting for the next 100 odd words? not me.

oh, and btw, i didn't participate in sport. i sat on the sidelines watching them all playing netball.

okay, another thing. at school, we did a month of random acts of kindness and our goal was 1,000 random acts. fortunately, we got to that and 500 more :) but, one of our tasks was to do FREE HUGS but, only one of the teachers out of our whole entire school seemed to have a problem with girls and boys touching. he thought this was so vital, so important, so OUTRAGEOUS, that he had to have it brought up in Junior School Assembly -___- the whole year level let out a groan and a few "what the hell!?"'s. it was so stupid, even our teacher was pretty annoyed. goshgoshgosh. it was just hugs, but i do suppose some of the preps/grade1's got a bit excited ^___^

well, i'm a tad tired, so i should probably go to sleep.
but first i have to have my DEDICATIONS i think this should be a regular thing in my blogs ;D
